team member Kimberly A Lakin purchased the business from Bill and the firm of Jones, Lakin & Company, CPAs, PC was born. We continued at 73 E Main Street for a year, moved in 2019 to our current space at 15 S Cranberry Rd, Suite C which supports greater room, lots of parking, and zero stairs!

Bill worked hard to build his practice as he and JoAnn settled in to the community and began to raise their family. Then in 1991, Bill partnered with Gary Davis and opened Davis & Jones at 187 E Main. Bill and Gary worked together for about seventeen years, during which time they grew the practice, employed many wonderful people, and got to know the members of the community.
