Anchorage Accountants was established in 2009. We are an independent firm of Chartered Accountants, authorised and regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
We aim to serve those businesses and individuals who are looking for a friendly, down-to-earth relationship with their accountant.
All our clients are managed by our principal Vaughan Barnacle (FCA), so there is always a single point of contact. He has worked within the accountancy profession since 1997. He obtained his professional qualification (ACA) in 2002 and is now a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
He has a broad experience of general practice, but has also worked in industry, which has provided him with a valuable perspective on the inner workings of businesses, and the pressures under which they operate.
When he is not at his desk, he can usually be found cycling or walking in the Malvern Hills. He is still spotted occasionally on the badminton courts of Hereford.
